Mary H Rowland

Mary Helen Rowland, 83. Mary Helen was born and reared in Charleston, MS. After graduating from high school, she moved to Memphis where she enjoyed a forty-year career with South Central Bell Telephone Company. She was a faithful servant at Holmes Road Church of Christ for fifty years. She was preceded in death by her father, James Frank Rowland, Sr., her mother, Susie Cozart Rowland, and her brother, James Frank Rowland, Jr. Her survivors include three sisters: Katie Sue Rowland Howard of Hernando, MS, Carolyn Rowland Caldwell of Ripley, TN, and Barbara Rowland Craddock of Southaven, MS. She also leaves five nephews and three nieces among whom are her two special boys, James Frank Rowland III of Tillatoba, MS and Kenneth Hardy Rowland of Enid, MS. Visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Poplar, Tuesday March 19, 2013 5:00 p.m. – 8:00p.m.. A graveside service will take place Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Rowland Cemetery in Charleston, MS.
