Mary Brown Morris

She enjoyed camping with her family and in her later years, would often work word puzzles. She was very fond of her late cat, Pretty Callie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Brown and Walter L. Brown, Jr.; husbands, John Ditto and Cecil Morris; and step-daughter, Rachel Morris.

She is survived by her step-daughter Mildred Newport; sister-in-law, Estelle Brown; 5 step-grandchildren; and numerous step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 20 beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 10:00 AM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Interment will immediately follow in Memphis Memory Gardens.
