Mary McWherter of Memphis, TN passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 8, 2017 in her home. Mary was a loving and devoted Mother, Sister and Aunt. She will be deeply missed by her family. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Arbell Guinn and Clarence Elmore “CE” Scoggins; brother, Troy Doshier; and 2 sisters, Lorene Martin and Wanda Reed. She is survived by her daughter, Dana McWherter Harrell; sister, Louise Fowler; brother, Willie Doshier; and her nieces, Teri Perkins and Carol Thomas. At Mary’s request, no formal funeral arrangements will be held. The family will be having an intimate memorial service to celebrate Mary’s life on Saturday, July 15th from 5 to 7 pm in Hernando, MS.
