Mary Ann Konzelman, 71, went home to be with the Lord on July 31, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Mary Ann was a loving wife and mother who always put her family first. Because of her strong faith in God, she was a true witness to others even through her battle with cancer. Mary Ann was born January 29, 1945 in Philadelphia, Mississippi to Lorraine and Martin Rushing. She graduated from Starkville High School and attended Mississippi State University. She lived in Memphis for 38 years and worked with FedEx and Avon. She attended Christ the Rock Church. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, David E. Konzelman and her son, David A. Konzelman both of Memphis, her brother Donald Rushing of Atlanta and her sister Betty (Dusty) Rivers of Birmingham, nieces, Stacey (Garrett) Tapper, Ashley (Daniel) Fontaine, and nephew Todd (Suzanne) Rivers. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Konzelman, and parents, Martin and Lorraine Rushing. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, August 3 at Family Funeral Care followed by burial at Memphis Memorial Gardens in Bartlett.
