Sue Coston, 85, of Memphis passed away in her home on January 14th, 2017. Sue was from Anniston, Alabama and is predeceased by her husband John E. Coston. She is survived by her brother Joe Blackmon, her daughters Deborah Woods (Doug), Donna Scott (David), and Denise Coston. She also leaves five granddaughters, Dr. Stephanie Scott, Jacquelyn Oberman (Ben), Bonnie Mahar (Brad Yale), Stacy Baugues (Jay), and Jennifer Scott. We will miss her dearly.
Sue was devoted to her church Colonial Baptist and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was an avid fan of Alabama football and loved talking about it with her granddaughters. Sue enjoyed striking up a conversation with anyone anywhere. A crowded room will be less lively without her.
Visitation at 11:00am to 12:15, service 12:15 to 1:00 at Colonial Baptist Church, 1503 Colonial Rd on February 3rd, burial following at Veterans Cemetery, Forest Hill Irene, at 2pm.
