Mary was a graduate of Southside High School and retired from the accounting department of E.H Crump & Co. after 40 years of service.
As a life-long member of the United Methodist Church. Mary loved singing in the chancel choir and was a member of the UMW. She grew up in Parkway United Methodist Church which later became Bethany Parkway United Methodist Church then she later joined Emmanuel United Methodist Church where she was a member at the time of her death.
Mary was preceded in death by her sister Earlyne Edwards and is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Larry Caldwell, her daughters, Mary Lynn Caldwell of Memphis, TN and Melinda Mandel (Mark) of Greenwood, IN, as well as her two grandchildren, Alex Mandel and Heather Mandel.
Mary’s loving spirit will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
The funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 2404 Kirby Road, Memphis TN 38119. Visitation will begin at 10am and a service of memory will begin at 11am. There will be a procession to the interment at Memorial Park Southwoods, 5485 Hacks Cross Road, Memphis TN 38125 at 12.30pm.
