Martha Grisham Childress, 91, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016. She was a member of Leawood Baptist Church for 65 years. Mrs. Childress was preceded in death by her husband, William Benton Childress, Sr. and son, William Benton Childress, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Childress; nephew, William Barnett of Southaven, MS; and other nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday, December 14th at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. In lieu of flowers the family asks that all memorials be sent to The Humane Society or The Union Mission.
