Marjorie E. Acree was born in Memphis on July 20, 1923 to Dewitt T. and Ollie Mae Williams Henderson who precede here in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Danny Dewitt Acree; and sister Alice Huffman. She is survived by her two grandchildren, Bradley Dewitt Acree and Melanie Acree Gingras (George); and by four great grandchildren, Carol, Crysta, Cayleigh and Christian. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 6 from ten o’clock to eleven o’clock in the morning, with services to begin at eleven o’clock, all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. A private family interment will be held following services. The family invites everyone to remain at Memphis Funeral Home following services for a catered reception. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
