Marie Wells

Lometa “Marie” Wells, 84, of Memphis, passed away February 1, 2016. Ms. Wells retired from Methodist Hospital where she worked primarily in labor and delivery. She was a very hard worker and she considered her co-workers her second family and loved them dearly. She was a very giving person and she loved people. Ms. Wells was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene R. Wells, her parents, Richard and Lillie Mae Moore, two brothers, Billy and Bobby Moore, and three sisters, Georgia Green, Lola McDonald, and Elizabeth Moore. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Dial (Curtis), two sisters, Thelma Hankins and Martha Nicodemus, her sister-in-law, Rose Moore, one granddaughter, Kerri Ferguson, one great-grandson, Dylan Ferguson and his fiancé, Amanda Cronan, as well as seventeen nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 9am until the service begins at 10am, all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Memphis. Interment will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens.
