Marjorie “Margie” Clark, age 87 passed away on July 12, 2020. She was born on April 1, 1933 in Bells, TN where she attended school. She was awarded Miss Bells in first grade and twelfth grade. She moved to Memphis to work at Bell South in 1951.
Margie was a Memphis Dutchess for the Cotton Carnival and member of Josephine Circle. She was a realtor for Crye-Leike since 1984 until she retired.
Margie was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents Cora and Ewen Miller, her husband John Hardy Clark, and her son Mark Ewen Harris. She is survived by her sister Ann Miller McCabe (David), her son Chip Harris and daughters Tammy Harris McLaurin (Anse) and Leigh Clark Van Vulpen (Andrew); granddaughter Emily Clark McLaurin and grandson Mark Hardy Clark.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 16 from 5pm until 7pm and Funeral service will be held Friday, July 17 at 10am at Memphis Funeral Home 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119.
