She married Eugene Klug in 1959 in the Gesu Chapel of Marquette University in Wisconsin. Together, they lived in West Allis, Wisconsin; Brookfield, Wisconsin; Racine, Wisconsin; Foreman, Arkansas; Shreveport, Louisiana; Conway, Arkansas; and Marion, Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Klug of Germantown; son, Dean Klug (Glennie) of Memphis, Tennessee and their children, Ted Klug of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jack Klug of Memphis, Barry Klug of Memphis; daughter, Kathy Klug of Coatesville, Pennsylvania; son, Jim Klug (Tricia) and their children, Thomas Klug, Daniel Klug (Jessica), Mary Klug, Joseph Klug, Anna Klug, Leo Klug, and David Klug, all of Johnson City, Tennessee; brother, Robert E Friedel of Fond Du Lac; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends
She volunteered extensively in her children's schools and in the parishes, especially the PRE program at St. Mary of the Pines in Shreveport and the St. Joseph Flea Market in Conway.
She loved baking for her kids and grandkids and spent endless hours playing Free Cell Solitaire during road trips to visit family and friends. She never met a board game or card game she didn't love to play with her grandkids.
Due to the pandemic, funeral services will be delayed until it is safer to gather together and properly celebrate and honor Margaret's life and legacy.
