Margaret McDonald Gilbert, age 94, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. She will be memorialized at a service at Crossroads Baptist Church,125 Houston Levee, on Friday, June 30, at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the church or St. Jude Children's Hospital be made.
Margaret Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Thomas J Tilley Jr. She is survived by her son, Hubert P. Chatham, Jr., her grandchildren, Robert Chatham, Nicole Chatham, Cassidy Dyson and Justin Tilley, and her great-grandchildren, Xander Chatham and Avery Chatham.
Margaret had a long career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Memphis area. She also lived in Jacksonville, Florida, and Columbus, Georgia. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with family and friends, sewing, reading, and gardening. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society."
