LLOYD FRANKLIN SHOOK of Collierville, TN passed away at his home on March 8, 2014. He was born to Lloyd and Lena Shook on March 19, 1926 in Jonesboro, AR. He was a graduate of the University of Memphis College of Engineering. He was a past member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers. He is a World War II U.S. Army veteran and member of the American Legion, Post 250, Germantown, TN. He is survived by his wife, Oneida Adams Shook; his sons, Franklin Shook of Bozeman, MT, Larry (Teresa) Shook of Eads, TN, and Daniel (Diane) Shook of Germantown; granddaughters, Melissa (Jonathan) Cirtain of Madison, AL, Tessa (Robert) DeAngelo of Memphis, Heather Shook of Cortez, CO and great-granddaughters, Emily Claire Lea Cirtain of Madison, AL and Brenna Nicolette DeAngelo of Cordova, TN. He was devoted to his family. He was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church. The family requests in lieu of flowers contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Cancer Society or Independent Presbyterian Church. Visitation 1 p.m. Monday, March 10 with services to follow at 2 p.m., all at Independent Presbyterian Church, 4738 Walnut Grove Rd.
