Lillian was born in Poagville, Mississippi on September 23, 1928 to the late Annette & Charles Boling. She graduated from Horn Lake High School and attended Freed-Hardeman College in Henderson, Tennessee.
Lillian worked in catalog sales for Sears & Roebuck until her retirement.
Mrs. Eason was a member of Ross Road Church of Christ and Middleton Church of Christ prior to that.
Along with her parents Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of over fifty years, John Eason; her sister Mary Hensley and niece Betty Hensley Smith.
She is survived by her daughter Pam (Jim) Cowles of Scottsdale, Arizona; sister Katie Hensley; two brothers Albert Boling and Charles Boling; nieces and nephews Barbara Newman, Marie Humphrey, Randy Boling, Cindy Boling, Danny Boling, Marylon Greene, Carolyn Risener and Larry Hensley; and many other extended family members.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, January 11 from 12:30 p.m. until funeral services begin at 2:00 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119. Burial with escorted procession will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens. Mr. David Franklin of Ross Road Church of Christ will lead the days services.
