Leesa was born on October 26, 1977. She lived in Memphis most of her life. She graduated high school in Atlanta, GA and received her nursing degree from then Memphis State University. She married her soulmate, Ricky Spencer in 2001 and resided in Bartlett, TN.
Leesa loved more than anything else her two boys. She was also an avid fan of bowling, softball, her dachshunds, reading and needle work.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Richard (Ricky) Spencer, her sons, Justin Chase (13) and Christopher (10), her mother, Kathryn Rhodes (Hornbeak, TN), her Father, Richard Callahan (Port Charlotte, Fl), step-mother, Jenny Greene and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving grandmothers, Irene Yates and Lee Crutcher, her grandfather Raymond Crutcher and her only sibling, Lindsay Greene.
She will especially be missed by all of her students and parents that were part of her daily school bus route. She was a much beloved member of the school community, and leaves behind a large group of loving families that depended on her smiles daily.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. To 6:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave., Memphis, TN 38122.
In lieu of flowers, any donations or memorials can be sent to her family.
