Laura M. Walker, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at the age of 66. She loved gardening and flowers of all kind, Elvis Presley and loved her family dearly. Laura had a career in nursing which brought her great joy and fulfillment. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and two brothers. Laura is survived by her loving husband, Buddy Walker; one daughter, Renee Caldwell (Jonathan); two sons, Russell Walker, Robert Walker (Vanessa); one sister, Linda Vance; and two grandchildren, Selma and Salem Walker. A Memorial Gathering will be held Wednesday, February 13th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. The family asks that any memorials be sent to Kings, Daughters, and Sons Nursing Home.
