Lanell Brewer

Lanelle Brewer, 75, of Collierville, TN died at Baptist Hospital on Sunday, November 4, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Lanelle was born in Burnsville, MS and moved to Memphis in 1998. She was retired from Kimberly-Clark in Corinth, MS and also from Marsh USA in Memphis, TN. She was an avid reader and enjoyed interior decorating and working in her yard. At the age of 40 she returned to college and earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of North Alabama in Florence, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and John Henry Lambert, her brother, Danny Kip Lambert and her half-brother, Peyton O. Turner, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Denise Brewer of Collierville. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home in Corinth, MS on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, from 11a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. She will be buried by her parents and brother at Antioch Freewill Baptist Church in Burnsville, MS. There will be no service at the burial site. Carol has requested that in lieu of flowers memorials may be sent the American Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.
