Kurt Allan Lucka, age 73, of Collierville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023. He was born Hartford, Wisconsin, on February 19, 1950, to William Lucka and Anna Lucka. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Worden, with combat service in the Gulf of Tonkin, Vietnam. He later graduated from Florida Institute of Technology. He retired from FedEx, after 35 years of service in the GOC as a Flight Dispatcher, where he also earned numerous Bravo Zulu awards.
Kurt was an avid sports fan, particularly the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, Memphis Tigers, and NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon Lucka; children, Eric Lucka, Laura Marr (Blake), Robert Lucka (Brittney); and grandchildren, Parker Marr, Collins Lucka, Emma Kate Lucka, and Curtis Dean Lucka. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Betty Ruttinger and Wilbert Lucka.
