Keri was born February 21, 1965 in Long Beach, California to Rich and Beverly Ansite. She graduated from Millikan High School in Long Beach and worked for McDonnell Douglas where she met her husband of 32 years, Michael. They were married in November of 1989 and the following year their daughter Meghan was born. In 1993 the family moved to Memphis, Tennessee and in 1994 they had their second child, Shannon.
Keri grew to love the City of Memphis. She enjoyed cheering on the Grizzlies and became a big fan of the University of Tennessee through marriage. She enjoyed lazy days in the pool or at the beach, socializing with countless friend groups, and snuggling with her dogs. However, Meghan and Shannon were her absolute pride and joy.
For the last 22 years Keri worked in the business office at St. Agnes Academy and in 2019 she was elected to their Hall of Fame. Keri enjoyed supporting various Memphis charities over the years, but St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital held a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her husband Michael, and daughters Meghan Kilkenny (Adam) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Shannon O’Brien-Jordan (Sam) of Baltimore, Maryland, her mother Beverly Tasonis (Rick) of Memphis, and her father Rich Ansite (Cindy) of Monroe, North Carolina, as well as brother Jim (Jenny) of Paso Robles, California, along with numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
