Mrs. Schwartz was married to the late William B. Schwartz of Memphis and was the daughter of the late Robert Willis and Fannie Irene Hyde, both of Coffeeville, MS. She was preceded in death by her four brothers and sister, R.W. Hyde, Jr., Zach Hyde, Irene (Bae) Herman, Dan Hyde and Kenneth Hyde.
She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Memphis. During her free time, she enjoyed gardening and going to movies.
Kitty is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Hyde of Mocksville, NC and five nieces and nephews: Robert W. Hyde, III of Houston, Texas, B.F. Herman, III of San Francisco, CA, Patti Harrell of Mocksville, NC, Susan Adams of Franklin, TN and Robert Hyde of Germantown, TN.
A visitation for Katherine will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from four o'clock until six o'clock in the evening at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119. A graveside service will occur Thursday, February 23, 2023 from beginning at ten o'clock in the morning at Coffeeville City Cemetery, 15401 Depot Street, Coffeeville, Mississippi 38922.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to First Baptist Church of Memphis.
