Karen Bray

She was born April 22, 1949 in Chicago, IL and was the oldest child of Genevieve “Dolly” Davie and the late Bruce Holland Davie.

In addition to her mother Dolly, Karen is survived by her three children: Stephen D. Boice, Stacy Higgs and Trina Bray. Seven grandchildren: Daniel Boice, Zechariah Higgs, Shelby Higgs, Luke Hockaday, Ryan Hockaday, Matthias Bray and Chloe Stricklen. Two sisters: Susie Giampaolo and Dawn Enman. Three brothers: Bruce “Kid” Davie, Scott Davie and Mark Davie.

Karen was a longtime resident of the Memphis Area where she raised her three children. She enjoyed going to church, doing crafts and exercising. Most of all, Karen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart. Karen was extremely faithful to the Lord even through her toughest times. At the age of 59 she was diagnosed with early onset dementia, Alzheimer’s Type, which ultimately took her life.

Graveside service will be held on August 12, 2016 at 10 am at the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38113.
