Josephine McCord Brown, 94, of Memphis, passed away on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, James W. Brown, daughter, Janet McDugle (Jim), granddaughters, Laura Beth McCarty (Chris) and Lisa Hardy (Edd), great-grandchildren, Jonah McCarty, Kaitlyn Hardy and Wes Hardy. Mrs. Brown was a member of Union Ave Baptist Church for over 74 years. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, March 7th from 9-10am with the funeral at 10am at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. The burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh LaGrange, Memphis.
