He was born in Memphis, TN and raised by his wonderful parents, Michael and Louise Scola.
Joe lived a fulfilling life as an amazing and loving husband to Robin, a loving father to Blake, and a caring brother to Sonny, Ann, Gracie, Margaret, Johnny, and the late Michael. He loved and was loved by many nephews and great nieces.
Joe enjoyed traveling, cooking, spending time with his family, fishing, storm chasing , fireworks, and Halloween/costumes.
He loved animals and taking care of them.
His favorite movies were Ice Age, It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story, Black Hawk Down, The Grapes of Wrath, and Shrek.
He was a giving person with a very big heart.
As per his request, there will be a graveside service at Memphis Memory Gardens at 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd. on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Joe, we ask that donations be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The American Heart Association, or The Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County
