Joseph "Buddy" Hill, Memphis, TN, peacefully lost his courageous battle with cancer on July 2, 2016 at the age of 81 while at home and surrounded by his family. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines Reserve. Buddy was preceded in death by his wife Delores B. Hill and his parents, John William Hill and Caroline "Callie" Rayburn Hill. He is survived by one daughter, Beverly Hill; three sons, Joseph Hill II (Patti), John Hill (Teresa), David Hill; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and his partner, Donna Logan. The family will receive guest Wednesday, July 6 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. and Celebrate His Life on Thursday, July 7 at the funeral home at 2 p.m. with burial to follow in Memphis Memory Gardens.
