John M. Sullivan, 96, of Memphis died Sunday, February 13th at Kirby Pines Retirement Community. Grave side services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 15th, at Memphis Memory Gardens. He served in France in WWII with the Corps of Engineers and was a commercial sign painter with McNeel Sign Company. He was a member of First Evangelical Church. He leaves his wife, Ann G. Sullivan, two stepdaughters Connie Carter of Memphis, Beverly Rogers of Collierville, and a son Dr. Hugh M. Sullivan of Kingsport, TN, 7 grand children, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to The Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance, 102 Pickering Way, Ste. 200, Exton, PA 19341 or to The Kirby Pines Foundation at Kirby Pines Retirement Community, 3535 Kirby Road, Memphis, TN 38115.
