John L. Garner Jr., of Hernando, MS was born on August 27, 1941 and departed this life at the age of 76, due to complications from pneumonia on May 2, 2018. John was a well-respected pharmacist of 47 years to the residents of the Whitehaven and Southaven area. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joann Ferrell Garner. John leaves behind four children; April, Andrew, Anthony, and Addam, and one grandchild, Noah. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 5 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. John will be laid to rest at Memphis Memory Gardens on Raleigh-LaGrange. All family and friends are welcome to pay their last respects.
