Joanne Morrisette Davis, 85, of Millington, TN passed away on Monday December 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years; Melvin J. Davis, daughter Cheryl D. Jacks of Millington, TN and her parents Christopher Roy and Annell C. Morrisette. Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter Pamela D. Jones and her husband Reid Jones of Memphis, TN, sons Melvin Christopher Davis and Robert Brent Davis, son-in-law James Jacks from Millington, TN, sister Barbara M. Wynn of Cookville, TN, brother Robert Morrisette of Pineville, LA, eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She attended Treadwill High School. Joanne was a military wife for 24 years. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, December 6th from 11-12pm with a memorial service starting at 12pm at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119. The inurnment will be at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the COPD Foundation (copdfoundation.org).
