Joan H. Coffey, 63, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015. She dearly loved her sons and family as well as her puppies but first and foremost she loved the Lord. Mrs. Coffey was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan W. Coffey and mother, Aileen B. Herring. She is survived by her two sons, Lannon Coffey, Brandon Coffey; father, Steve Herring; one grandson, Kellan Coffey; two sisters, Tish Sims (Jeff Sr.), Stephanie Herring; one niece, Kara Filer; and two nephews, Duncan Filer and Jeffrey Sims, Jr. The family will receive guest Sunday, April 12th at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. from 3 pm until the service begins at 4 pm. Burial will be at a later date in West TN State Veterans Cemetery. The family asks that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
