Jo Hughes

Graduated from Hueytown High School in Hueytown, AL and attended Auburn University. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Memphis, TN and very active in several charitable organizations throughout the Memphis Community including the past president of the Duration Club. The family will gather from 11:30 a m until a memorial service begins at 12:30 pm all at Trinity United Methodist Church located at 1738 Galloway, Memphis, TN 38112. Rev. Jonathan Bratt Carle will officiate the service. Miss Jo was preceded in death by her husband Brooks Hughes, and sister Verlene Mitchell. She is survived by her children Joanne (Pat) Williams of Oakland, TN and Perry Hughes of Memphis; grandchildren Jesse M. (Jenny) Williams, Christen (Tony) Skinner, and Amanda Williams; and eight Great-grandchildren.
