He leaves behind his best friend and wife of 41 years, Tresa Danley; his son, Jeremy and his wife Jessica; his daughter, Amanda Mitchell and her husband Greg; his brother, DeWayne Danley and his wife Vanessa; six grandsons, four granddaughters, and one great granddaughter.
Jeff spent more than 30 years working in the automotive radiator industry. In his later years, he worked in tire sales up until his retirement in the spring of 2020. Jeff spent years working with the Boy Scouts of America as an assistant scout leader. He loved camping with his son and the other scouts. Jeff also spent years taking his daughter to cheer practice and girly movies. He loved taking his family to Heber Springs, AR where they would spend countless hours on Greers Ferry Lake. Jeff always looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren. He was a role model and encourager to all of them. He never missed an opportunity to see them perform, whether it be an awards program at school or a band concert where he watched his grandsons follow in his footsteps. Jeff played the saxophone while in school and his son and three of his grandsons followed in his footsteps. In recent years, Jeff committed his life to our Lord and Savior and put Christ on in baptism. He lived his life for Christ and was an active member of Middleton Church of Christ. He was eager to serving God and enjoyed talking to the members there every week. Jeff loved sitting outside and watching the hummingbirds while surrounded by all of his beautiful flowers he had planted. He treasured watching the sunset with his wife every night.
A visitation for Jeffrey will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 from 1pm until 2pm with services immediately following at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A committal service will occur after the service at Grand Juction Cemetery in Grand Junction, TN 38039.
