Jeanette C. Woodward

Jeanette Currie Woodward, age 94, passed away February 26, 2021. She was born May 24, 1926 in Memphis, Tennessee to Robert Arthur Currie and Linnye Trobaugh Currie. She graduated from Humes High School. She was a member of Leawood Baptist Church and retired from the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Coy Oxley Woodward; brother, Robert Daniel Currie. She is survived by her three daughters, Jean Boyd (Newton "Buddy"), Joyce Woodward, and Janie Duncan (Russell); three grandchildren, Elaine Twisdale (Keith), Grace Clarkson (Jake), and Ashely Riley (James); seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 2 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home - Poplar Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 3 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home prior to graveside services, beginning at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to Leawood Baptist Church.
