James Wilmoth Hodges

Jimmy Hodges, 86, passed away in Memphis, TN, Tuesday, July, 18th 2023. He was born in Paris, TN, on August 8th 1936. He was married to his loving wife, Martha Hodges, for 60 years. Jimmy was very proud to serve in his church, as an elder for fifty years. He began his career as a medical supply salesman for 35 years. As a second career in life, he was a funeral director for Memphis Funeral home for 10 years assisting and caring for families in need. Jimmy’s friends and family depended on him for his advice, and most of the time, it was good advice. He was very devoted to Jesus and was always willing to share his love for God with others and spread the good word. The family will receive friends, Friday, July 21st 2023, 10 o’clock in the morning until service time at 11 o’clock at Cornerstone Church, 2385 Whitten road. Memphis, TN 38133. Entombment will take place following the service at Memphis Memory Gardens.
