Irene H. Hobson, 92 of Memphis passed away November 17, 2014. Irene was a member of Highland Street Church of Christ. She retired from Macy’s after many years of service at the Estee Lauder counter. Irene was preceded in death by her loving husband, Guyton Hobson and her siblings, four sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her daughter Patricia LaGasse (David); son Michael Hobson (Libby); three grandchildren, Mark LaGasse (Karen), Mitch LaGasse & Summer Hobson; three great grandchildren, Abigail LaGasse, Presley LaGasse & Tyler LaGasse. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21 at 11:30 am at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
