Henry A. (Hank) Bauman passed away on November 4. Hank was born at Kendallville, Indiana. He attended Zion Lutheran Church and School at Corunna Indiana, north of Fort Wayne until he entered the service in 1941. He was married to Roberta L. Jeffries Bauman at Trinity Lutheran Church in 1944 later became a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Hank completed 37 years as a radiology technician at the Memphis Veterans Medical Center. He served in the Army reserves with the 330th General Hospital reserve unit.
He worked for Central Hardware on Summer Avenue and was a member of the Greater Memphis Wood Workers Club. He was active in 4-H Club activities and enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his daughter Joann (Klaus) Kimble, daughter in law Nancy Bauman, grandchildren Alison and Alan (Crystal) Bauman, and great grandchildren Evan and Michaela Bauman. He is preceded in death by his wife Roberta and sons Carl and Donald Bauman.
Visitation will be at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee from 5:30 -7:30 pm, Wednesday November 9.The funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, November 10 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 6325 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, TN 38134. Visitation will also be held one hour before service. The family suggest memorials be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Memphis, TN.
