Helen Marie McClure

Helen Marie McClure, 90 passed away September 26, 2016. She worked from the time she was 16 years old and always enjoyed her various careers. She was resident manager of the year at The Trails Apartments and always said that working keeps you young. She enjoyed dancing, singing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Edith Shadday; her son, James Harsin; and her sister, Mary Morgan.

She is survived by her daughters, Beverly (Marvin) Maxwell and Becky (Don) Pennington; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 6 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Mrs. McClure may be offered to the charity of the donor's choice.
