George LeRoy Leigh of Memphis, TN, age 77, passed away May 16, 2019. He was born August 9, 1941. Mr. Leigh is survived by his wife Annette Leigh, one son, Eric Leigh and two grandsons, Sean and Ryan Leigh all of Palm Harbor, FL. He also leaves behind a brother in law and sister in law, Des and Betty Moore of Fort Worth, TX and many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Agnes Leigh.
LeRoy was a longtime member of Cordova Church of Christ, retired from Sprint, served with the United States Marine Corps Reserve and loved golf. He graduated from Germantown High School , attended Freed-Hardeman College and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 19th from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Family Funeral Care. The funeral service will be Monday, May 20th at 2pm at Family Funeral Care. The interment will take place at Memphis Memory Gardens.
