I wonder if this is the George Kuharsky I worked for in the Purchasing Department at J I Case Company in Racine, WI?  The picture looks like it could be him.  It saddens my heart to learn that he has succumbed to cancer.  I remember him as being a gentle man.  Very nice and kind.  I was blessed to know him.  My sympathy to his wife Sandy.

George wa my life and love, I miss him dearly. He was a fighter and I thought he would never have to suffer the way he did at the end of his life here with us, Not a moment goes by that I do not think of him or the great memories I have to hold on to. I love you George.

TC (Tim Chambers), Todd Logan and I shared many a night in Milwaukee in the mid 1990's.  As many of you wrote, George was always a gentleman and reminded us of that often, as we were 13 years his junior.  

I remember visiting him in his apartment in Paris.  In the swank part of town in a 3 bedroom suite.   He loved the lifestyle....

Martini's in Milwaukee.....Elsa's on Cathedral Square....

His sport coat (always), his cocktail, the Milwaukee social scene...he was a class act..

Over the years I always had fond memories....

George had a great zest for life.  He defiantly lived up to being called "Curious George".  He loved his wine, to cook, of which he was very good, loved music and loved to entertain. He loved flowers, particularly orchids. He loved his Art of which at times I questioned!  He loved his dogs which brought him great joy!  He was a true gentleman and held his head with honor.  He truly lived liking the finer things in life.  

He was constantly challenged physically all his life.  He was a true fighter. He was always hopeful for a miracle. His miracle came in the form of friends and family that stuck by him on this journey which stretched over into years.  

He was blessed to have the hearts of so many.  His sisters and neices, nephews, cousins and all his beloved friends including me, and his loving wife Sandy.  

Sandy gave unconditional love to George and stood by his side at all times enduring the wrath of a man in pain that didn't want to die.  She was his Florence Nightingale! 

His world of pain is now over.
There are many stories one could tell of George. He was one of a kind. He was a proud man and his smile warmed us all.  He knew who loved him and we know who he loved.

Those angels up there have their hands full.  What a charmer he must be there. 

May he rest in peace knowing that he was loved by so many.  
George, you will be missed.  You will live Forever in our hearts!  May you rest in peace and may we rejoice in knowing his life has now begun in the arms of our Lord.

Today is the day we ome to honor your life, my brother.  I can't bear the thought of not seeing you anymore.  You will forever be in my heart and not a day will pass that I won't think of you and that funny "ghost laugh" you always used when you were up to something!  If I could breathe for you, I would do so for the rest of my life.  I've always had you to be strong for me, hold me when I hurt and talk with me when I needed you. I just don't know how i will be strong without you.  Throughout your illnesses in life, you carried on with strenght and dignity; not ever giving up your passion for life.  You were so much more than a brother to me.  We shared life through each other's eyes.  I will always love you and hold you in a very special place in my heart.

Uncle George, your so much more to me then an uncle , you are also my friend. We shared a special bond, we understood things about each others lives that many could not. Thank you for the times we spent together, you truly broaden my horizons. I will miss you more then words can express. I am lucky to have known such an extraordinary man. I love you Uncle George and I always will.

George....You're my cousin but most of all you were a very close friend!!!   We've had many many laughs and talks over the years  that I will cherish forever,  Unfortunately, a piece of me passed with the passing of you.  You will forever be a part of my life!!!  Love ya,  Paul

I only met George a couple of years ago, but I can say he was one of those people that you meet, and wish that you had known for years. He always seemed very positive and his personality drew you in. Thanks for our brief friendship...it changed me as a person for the better. Rest in peace. Love ya, Tom Rucker.

George, You were a caring, funny, intelligent, open-minded gentleman...the best kind of company. You will be missed by all.  When we remember you, it will always be with a smile.

We shared many a moment with George and he was without a doubt one of the most interesting conversationalists ever. What can you say about such a generous and caring person other than he will be missed. Having worked and travelled with George at Case Company, I know he had a taste for the finer things of life like good food, great wine and of course the Linclon Contential.   Cheers George!

George and I worked together at Case Corporation in Racine, Wisc for a number of years in the 90s. He was respected by all, a funny and outgoing man, and a great friend. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.
