Frances Carolyn Magnini, age 80, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. She was born in Memphis on January 9, 1944 to Theodore "Ted" Chrisman and Nellie Marie Isbell Chrisman. She retired from Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was a longtime member and organist for St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Carolyn was very involved in supporting her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, from coaching softball to cheer and volleyball and attending every possible activity that they participated in. She was loved by everybody that knew her--she never met a stranger.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Karen Cianciolo (Johnny), Julie Cardelli, and Janet Love (Howard); grandchildren, Ceserina Williams (Shaw), Maria Williams (Jason), Matt Love, John Cianciolo (Robin), Kasey Cardelli, Paul Cianciolo, Daniel Cianciolo (Katie), Kelly Matthews (Dylan), Anthony Cardelli (Grace), and Claire Love; great-grandchildren, Daniel Williams, Heath Williams, Eli Williams, Sofia Cianciolo, Luke Williams, Sebastian Cianciolo, Faith Williams, Celina Cianciolo, and Dominic Cianciolo. She is also survived by her brother, Gene Chrisman and close cousins, Anne Luckett and Kay Isbell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Magnini.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 12 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 1425 E Shelby Dr, Memphis, TN 38116. A committal service will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119.
