Evelyn Ray

Evelyn Geneva Gatewood Ray, 104, of Southaven, MS, retired from Wesson – Hunt Foods, went to heaven on January 1, 2013. Visitation will be at 10am on Friday, January 4, 2013, at Trinity Baptist Church in Southaven, MS with funeral services immediately following at 11am. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for 64 years. Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert. She leaves a sister, Annie Margaret Turnage of Southaven, MS; 2 grandsons, John J. Hora, Jr. and Timothy Ray Hora; and 3 great-grandsons. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests memorial contributions to be sent to the Trinity Baptist Church Children’s Department.
