Ernest L. Drake

Ernest L. “Ernie” Drake, 64, of Memphis, Tennessee died at home this morning, January 5, 2012. He is the owner of Pleasant View Auto Upholstery, member of the Classic Chevy Club, leader and volunteer to Boy Scout Troop 410, and an avid U.T. Volunteer fan. A celebration of Ernie’s life will be on Saturday, January 7, beginning at 1PM with his family receiving guests from noon until the service begins. The celebrant for the service will be Jonathan Matthews and the Tennessee National Guard will provide military honors. Mr. Drake was preceded in death by his mother Callie Dawn Drake and brother Kenneth Sory Drake. He is survived by his wife Peggy A. Drake; children Angelia Drake, Michelle Keith, Phillip Scott Drake and Samantha Lee Presson; sister Geneva Traughber; brothers Leonard & Jerry Drake; grandsons Jeremiah & Jonah Presson; and his god-son Joseph Oldham.
