Emily Julia McGee, age 31, of Collierville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born January 12, 1992. She loved going to church (and experiencing its music) followed by a trip to Dollar Tree. She also enjoyed swimming at the YMCA and had a special love for Disney plays. Her favorite holiday was Christmas ("Chrissy", as Emily would say). She loved her special needs family, at SRVS in Collierville, and she also enjoyed her programs at SHINE Special Needs Ministry, at CFBC. Most of all, she loved her Jesus, and He loved her too ("the Bible tells me SO").
She is survived by her parents, Judy McGee and Tim McGee; siblings, Lillie McGee and Arleen McClung (David); and many caring aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 30, beginning at 10:00 AM and funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM, at Collierville First Baptist Church (Main Sanctuary), 830 New Byhalia Road, Collierville, TN 38017.
