Edith Kilgore Bullock, 97, passed away July 29, 2020. She was born to Joseph and Alice Kilgore February 22, 1923 in Newberry, SC. Edith was greatly loved and a devoted Christian. She loved gardening, which came from her mother who was a florist. Edith was also into the creative arts with her favorite color being orange and she was also a teacher for many years. Her greatest joy was just simply being a wife and mother.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Earl Bullock Jr, of 62 years. She is survived by daughter Gloria Bullock; sons Thomas E. Bullock and Richard K. Bullock (Susan); close family friend, Diana Roberts and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the family will be having a private memorial service at Family Funeral Care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
