She was preceded in death by her parents, George H. and Lillie M. Busby. As well as one sister, Shirley A. Busby. She leaves behind to mourn her passing, Her brother and sister in law, Anthony and Debbie Busby; niece and husband, Tonya and Mike Shennan; niece and husband, Sara and Dustin Martin and one great niece Lily Martin.
Dorothy attended Grey Road Church of The Lord Jesus Christ for 55 years and Hope Apostolic Church for 10 years. She was employed with Memphis Consumer Credit for over 55 years and her favorite pastime was watching QVC shopping network.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Hope Apostolic Church, 5645 Spring Lake Road, Memphis, Tennessee. A funeral will occur Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM, 5645 Spring Lake Road, Memphis, Tennessee. A committal service will occur Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park East, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, Tennessee.
