A visitation is planned for Monday, March 20, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. The funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, at the funeral home, with burial to immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Donna was born on April 1, 1947, in Memphis, TN. Donna was a loving and loved family member and a good friend to many throughout her life. After retirement, Donna enjoyed spending time at home watching crime shows and westerns, eating out, and helping with small jobs around the house. She never turned down a glass of sweet tea or a Hershey Kiss.
Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Ballo Whitten, and her sister, Peggy Williams. She is survived by her nephew, Mickey Williams (Kelli Kirk), and their daughters, Gabriella and Chloe; nephew, Matt Williams (Lauren), and their children, Caroline and Duffy; and many cousins.
Donna’s family would like to express their immense gratitude to the amazing women – Adrian, Annie, Ashley, Betty, Kizzie, Latoyia, Matilda, Sharon, and Verneda – of Madison Haywood Developmental Services in Bolivar, TN, who always cared for Donna as if she was a member of their own family.
