Dennis Matthew "Matt" Banks, age 57, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away May 31, 2021. He was born November 12, 1963 in Memphis, Tennessee to William Dennis Banks and Delores Rogers Banks.

Matt graduated from Wooddale High School where he excelled in football and JROTC. He was the project engineer at Audio Communications where he worked for 27 years. He enjoyed computers and gaming, specifically World of Warcraft and poker.

Matt is survived by his mother, Delores R. Banks; daughters, Kimberly Banks (Bre) and Vickie Akin (Matt); brother, Mark Banks (Brenda); niece, Madison Banks; and nephew, Garrett Banks. He was a grandfather to Kesley, Brantley, Keagan, Kilian, and Kamille. He was preceded in death by his father, William Dennis Banks.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 6 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM and funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Monday, June 7 at 2:00 PM, all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee.
