Debra Kay Avant passed away September 09, 2014 at Methodist Hospital Germantown. She loved NASCAR, going to the lake, flower gardening and her dog Prissy.
She is survived by her husband Dickie Avant; son Sean (Karen) Whitten; daughter Lori (Court) Hawley; grandchildren Alexander Wray Williams, Noah Walker Whitten, Landon C. Hawley and Carter Lee Hawley.
The family will receive friends Saturday September 13, 2014 from 1p.m. until 3 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Tunica Humane Society, PO Box 236, Tunica, MS 38676
