There are no words for how broken my heart is.  She was my best friend for almost forty years.  She was my confidant, my go-to when I was sad, happy or just wanted to talk.  I was so blessed God made us neighbors and gave her to me to be my best friend all those years ago when I needed her most.  My kids grew up with Keith and Melissa.  I will miss her, her voice and her presence in my life more then words will ever express, but I know beyond a shadow of doubt she is with Jesus and all her family and I will see her again one day!  I will miss you Doobie!!  ♥♥

Mommy,
My soul is empty without you.  I got up this morning  wishing I could call you like I did every morning to have our coffee talk.  Knowing that I will never be able to just pick up the phone and be able to hear your voice is the most empty feeling. I know you are with me in spirit which is comforting  to me. Like our conversation about taking care of Deddy, Bubbie and Ontee when you are no longer physically here I promised you that I would take of them and with your guidance from the other side with all I have in me I will keep that promise.  
Your service was beautiful and warm.  You are truly loved by many mommy. To know that I am apart of an amazing woman like you is humbling fullfilling and I am so proud to call you my Mommy.  There is so much I want share about my amazing mommy those that knew here already know what an amazing woman she is and that is so comforting to our family and my mommy would want you all to know that we appreciate the love and support you have shown to us. 
Until I see you again mommy know that I will miss you and long for the day that I see you again.

Debbie,  you have no idea how much you are going to be missed.  My heart is so broken and will never mend. You were not only my sister, who I looked up to,  you were my best friend. We had ao many road trips to make and baking to do. How can I do this without you.  I am so glad you are not in pain anymore.  My pain is so much worse without you.  I will see you again. I  love you so much and miss you.  RiP my precious  sister.

This precious woman was the love of my life. She was the source of strength, love, and caring that held this family together through good and bad times. Very unselfish and concerned about others welfare. If you had a problem she would see you through it. I loved her radiance and sense of humor. My memories of her are precious and I thank God she was a major part of my life. As I struggle to write these words through tear dimmed eyes I take comfort in knowing that with the help of our precious daughter Melissa, our wonderful son Keith,  and Debbie's loving sister Vickie we will get through this ordeal together.  Good bye for now my angel. I'm glad you're not in pain. I will see you soon in the arms of Jesus. I want to thank the staff of Memphis Funeral Home. This is truly a great organization!
