David graduated from Germantown High School in 2000. Following high-school, David attended aircraft mechanic school.
David is survived by his beloved parents (David and Cathie), sister (Kelley Pendergrass) and countless cousins, family members and friends. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Willow.
He was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. His family and friends were his whole life. Never one to shy away from a good time, he was the life of the party everywhere he went. David was an amazing storyteller and hot sauce connoisseur. His hobbies included disc golf, golf, and fishing with his friends and dad. He loved his naps and hoodies and refused to wear shoes as much as possible. He loved the beach and lived in Destin Florida for several years.
David donated his heart, kidneys, retinas, bone and tissue and his legacy will live on through others. Changing lives, even in death.
A visitation for David will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and a funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, both 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, Tennessee 38119. After burial at Forest Hill Midtown, family and friends will gather for a reception back at Memphis Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
