David is survived by his wife, Dorothy McAllister; his father, Howard McAllister; one sister, Marsha Burkhart; one brother, John McAllister; 2 daughters, Denise McAllister, Dawn McAllister ; one son, David Holman; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was a man who loved and gave love. A man who loved the Lord with all his heart and served faithfully until his death. David delighted in working on old cars, but spending time with his good friends was one of his greatest pleasures. He is going to be greatly missed by all of those that knew him.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 10AM until 11AM with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at Hickory Withe First Baptist Church, 17675 TN-196, Eads, TN 38028. The interment will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery located at 3700 N Germantown Pkwy in Bartlett, TN 38133.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in his honor.
