David, you were a awesome cousin. I will never forget your visits to kansas. Rest in peace.

I never had the pleasure of meeting David. His mom Cindy is a childhood friend of mine in Minnesota. I have so many wonderful memories of our time growing up together. Although we have been separated by so many miles these many years, my heart still breaks for my dear friend. Cindy, please know you are thought of so very often and your friend in Minnesota is sending you love and hugs across the miles. May comfort and strength find you as you adjust to the loss of your precious son.

I knew you when you were just a boy and have enjoyed being your friend for many  years.It is with great sadness that I write this. Such a lovely spirit that was yours has left this earth a little more empty. My  condolences to your family for they have lost more than any of us could ever know. Love your little dragon spirit! Go with God, David.

Where do I begin... I remember meeting you at vacation bible school when we were little kids. I remember riding our bikes to the pool and staying there all day. I remember Super Mario Bros. 3, Batman and Robin, the clubhouse, the firecrackers, the tire swing, the "property", the fire pit behind your grandparents' house, your dad yelling at you to stop putting oil on the fire, the 3 wheeler, Timothy's go cart, roaming through the big ditch in front of the house, and countless more memories. I remember when you turned 13 and moved with your dad and we got to hang out everyday. I remember the time you found $320 and shared it with Brandon Burkeen and I. I remember an entire childhood with you and it breaks my heart to know you're gone. I love you David! Thank you for my memories, the years we spent together, and for always being a true friend. I'll miss you but I will never forget you. You'll always live on in my mind! To Mr. Brown, your mom, Brandon, Timothy, and the rest of the family... I am sorry for your loss. It's a loss to everyone that knew him.

Dave Brown,the world needs more people like you. You had a huge impact on all of us, helping us all in your way, completely crazy and hilarious.  You always had our backs, and you won't be forgotten.

I served with Dr Boom in Italy and Qatar. He was one of the nicest people I've ever met, and always positive. We all lost a truly great person too soon. Prayers go out to his family.

I never knew you David...but my Son Jason Schmidt n wife Becs loved you. God must have needed one wonderful Angel. Rest in Peace.

David, "Dr. Boom" Brown was one of the most sincere, honest and caring people I have met. His passing is truly a sadness for everyone he made contact with. I will never forget all the happiness he brought to our lives and how he made our Air Force family stronger. We love you man....

The saying that cousins are some of your first best friends is perfect. We didn't spend every summer together but when we did, we always had a good time. I miss you, Dr. Boom. ~~Your crazy Kansas Cousin.

David was my former student at BCHS in Gov. I loved David. He always had a good attitude, was respectful and an all around good guy who grew into a great servant to his God and country. He emailed me for years from Italy, Korea and Lord knows where else. We fell out of touch about 4 yrs ago, but I never stopped thinking of him & being proud.
I must tell you, his family, that this old man cried half the night I heard of David's passing.
But now, I feel "rest well Dave, you were a good and faithful servant".
And in a more personal note, I'll say what his email always was to me:
So long Dr. Boom! I intend to see you again one day and we 'll swap stories!!! 
I'll miss you friend.

God Speed, Dave! You were one of the good ones! Alaska has missed you...you touched many lives with your smile and warmth. Drive On!

Gerald, It seems so un fair that such a fine young man could be taken so young.  Not all families are blessed with young adults that have such a strong faith. Take heart in that fact and know that you will be apart for a little while. At your passing or the Second Comming he will be there waiting for you to join him.  

Know that everyone at the Senior Center is concerned about you.  Brenda & I get frequent questions about how you are.  Stay as long as you need but please return to your other family at Hillsboro Senior Center.

You were just on my mind a month ago and I was going to try and find you on facebook but I couldn't.. But how I remember the days when we were growing up at Whiteville Elementary School how you loved making rockets and I really hate we had to reconnect like this but I'm going to really miss you love you RIH C/O 2001

David and I met working together on the flight line, I had an issue and I asked him for his help. While busy talking with others he took the time to stop and come help me. After the short time knowing him, he is the most caring and loving person anyone could ask for, he will forever be remembered. I feel blessed have the opportunity to have met him.
